01

Your website is online. That does not mean it is working.

A website can remain accessible while quietly losing speed, visibility, security and sales. Updates accumulate, plugins conflict, mobile usability declines and the original technical structure can no longer support the business behind it. Re:ACTIVATE identifies what is holding the website back and creates a clear recovery plan based on evidence — not assumptions. This is especially common in websites created quickly, built through older funding programmes, or left without ongoing technical support.

The problem
Slow and unstablePages take too long to load, the administration feels heavy or the checkout process becomes unreliable.
Outdated technologyThemes, plugins, PHP versions and integrations are no longer working together safely.
Security problemsFailed updates, suspicious files, malware, spam or weak access controls put the website and its data at risk.
Poor mobile experienceNavigation, product pages, forms or checkout flows no longer work properly on current mobile devices.
SEO and tracking declineSearch visibility, indexing, structured data, analytics or conversion tracking may be incomplete or broken.
No reliable supportThe website was delivered in the past but was never given the technical care needed to evolve.

What Re:ACTIVATE actually does

Re:ACTIVATE combines technical recovery, performance work, user-experience improvements and commercial thinking into one structured project.

What we do
Technical auditWe inspect the WordPress or WooCommerce installation, hosting environment, database, theme, plugins, integrations and critical user journeys.
Security and cleanupWe identify suspicious files, security weaknesses, abandoned accounts, outdated components and unsafe configurations.
WordPress recoveryWe repair failed updates, compatibility errors, broken functionality and unstable theme or plugin behaviour.
Performance optimisationWe improve loading behaviour, database efficiency, caching, media delivery and the technical causes of unnecessary page weight.
Mobile and UX improvementWe review navigation, product discovery, forms, cart and checkout behaviour across current screen sizes.
SEO and tracking recoveryWe inspect indexing, redirects, metadata, structured data, analytics and conversion tracking to identify lost or incomplete signals.
Design refreshWhere needed, we modernise key layouts and visual elements without replacing working parts unnecessarily.
Hosting and infrastructureWe evaluate whether the current hosting environment can support the website safely and efficiently.
03

Repair, rebuild or migrate — based on evidence.

Not every website needs to be replaced. Re:ACTIVATE determines the correct level of intervention after the technical assessment. We keep what has value, remove what creates risk and rebuild only what is necessary.

Recovery paths
RecoverFor websites with a sound foundation that mainly require cleanup, updates, security work and performance improvements.
Partially rebuildFor websites where the content and data remain valuable, but the theme, templates or critical user journeys need restructuring.
Rebuild or migrateFor installations that are unsafe, technically obsolete or too restricted to support the next stage of the business.

The Re:ACTIVATE process

Five steps, from first inspection to ongoing protection.

The process
AssessWe inspect the website, its infrastructure and its most important customer journeys.
PrioritiseWe separate critical risks from performance issues, design weaknesses and future improvements.
PlanYou receive a clear proposal defining what should be repaired, rebuilt, migrated or removed.
Re:ACTIVATEThe approved work is completed in a controlled staging environment and tested before launch.
ProtectAfter relaunch, FlexCare can provide continuous updates, monitoring, security and technical support.

Built for businesses that already invested once

Re:ACTIVATE is designed for businesses that already have a website or e-shop, but no longer trust its performance, stability or ability to support their next step.

Who this is for
An e-shop that has become slow or difficult to manage
A WordPress website with repeated errors after updates
A WooCommerce installation that no longer converts effectively
A website created years ago and never properly maintained
A project abandoned by its original developer
A website affected by malware or security problems
A business that wants to modernise without losing existing content, products, customers or search visibility

The exact scope is defined after the assessment, but every Re:ACTIVATE project is organised around clear findings, controlled implementation and a tested relaunch.

Once the website has been restored, ongoing technical care keeps it healthy going forward. Continue with FlexCare.

Things worth knowing

Not necessarily. The assessment determines whether the existing website should be repaired, partially rebuilt or replaced. We preserve useful content, data and functionality whenever it is technically responsible to do so.
Protecting existing business data is a core part of the planning process. Backups and controlled migration procedures are defined before any major intervention begins.
Re:ACTIVATE can include malware investigation, cleanup and security hardening. The exact recovery approach depends on the condition of the installation and hosting environment.
The schedule is defined after the assessment because the condition and complexity of each website are different.
The cost depends on whether the website requires recovery, a partial rebuild or a full technical migration. We assess the website first and then provide a clear proposal.
The completed website can move into FlexCare for ongoing maintenance, monitoring, backups, security and technical support.
